In this episode of Alpha Responder Network, deputies respond to a domestic dispute between a woman and her boyfriend. When deputies stop the woman, she says she was kicked out and tried to leave. She admits she has been drinking and that she should not be driving. She also admits she does not have a valid license. Deputies check her sobriety, confirm she is intoxicated, and place her under arrest for aggravated DUI. They explain that she is already suspended for a prior DUI, which makes the new DUI a felony under state law. They keep the stop calm and professional and note in their report that she was honest and cooperative.

Later in the shift, deputies come across a suspicious SUV late at night. The vehicle is smoking badly and appears ready to break down, but the people inside say they are driving to the Phoenix area at two in the morning with a small child to get the car fixed. The deputies immediately notice a lot of red flags. The plate on the vehicle is suspended. The driver does not have physical ID on her. A child is in the back seat while adults are vaping or smoking. The car looks unsafe to drive. The story about the trip keeps sounding less believable as the questions continue.

Deputies identify the people in the vehicle and learn that one of the men has active warrants, including warrants connected to theft and disorderly conduct. They detain him and search him. He is carrying knives, a Taser, and other items. Deputies also believe he is a known gang member and observe tattoos that suggest neo-Nazi and white supremacist affiliations. The group also has suspected illegal drugs in the vehicle. The occupants claim it is marijuana concentrate, but the deputies point out that the way it is packaged and lined out looks more like fentanyl.

The deputies warn the remaining occupants that the vehicle is unsafe and that the situation looks suspicious, especially given the time of night and the presence of a three year old child. They release the others but make it clear that they are watching.

The episode ends with the deputy explaining that this is the kind of proactive patrol work the public does not always see. He says their actions likely disrupted a larger criminal situation, removed a wanted gang member with violent history from the street, and sent a message that law enforcement is active at all hours to protect the community.
